Life and death are a cycle, I know because I have experienced them both.

 

For 10 years I was severely ill, bed bound, in a wheelchair, always in excruitiating pain. I watched as life ebbed from my body.

 

Finally on life support meningitis released trapped memories of childhood sexual abuse, and I saw my lifeless body breaking down beneath the earth, and with relief I prepared to die.

 

The acceptance of pain and acknowledgement of what happened led to the next stage of the cycle, light in my stomach, pushing me upwards and from the decay new life. The old me died, but I was reborn.

Our human form is transient, but we are eternal souls and all pain is compost for soul growth.
